Are there any newer Britannias/CL-44s around or are Mike Stone's still the latest and greatest ?
Thanx.

Jens made a Britannia less than 6 months ago. As always, very nice work. Search FlightSim under Turoprops.

Hi Guys My Superfreighter, Britannia and CL-44 projects eventually stalled at the end of last year after many, many months of ill health After spending from 19 Dec to 21 Apr in hospital then in and out of hospital and the hospice with on going treatment I am only now starting to pick up the models again. I can't use a PC due to my condition and that makes the Superfreighter difficult on a lap top..(complex) and there are many things still to pull together on that. At the moment I am turning the Britannia's Proteus into Tynes for the CL-44-6....(Yukon)...The D4 & J are part done the O (Guppy) is not started yet. So it is the Britannia/CL-44 project active at the moment. Can't give a time scale though I'll post some progress pics when there are some Garry

Thank you both
Getting back to normal is taking it's time but I should make a full recovery.
A good friend of mine kindly gave me this laptop so I was able to start back on forums whilst still in hospital and now I am more able as I can't sit at the PC for any length of time.
So with the support and kindness of the community it's not been so bad.

Keep up the good health, and we all hope to see more of you and your excellent work.
As an aside, I worked on a couple CL-44's at SFB many years ago, sure wish I could find the pics I took.

Thanks....I have more tests and treatment over the next few weeks so that should all help. ;D
There seems to be three differnt prop blade shapes..... pics of the Guppy seem to show it wearing all three types
Square with slight rounded corners.like the Vanguard, Square with pronounced rounded corners...like some Viscount 800 and rounded top, like the Britannia 300 but perhaps not such a deep rounded tip...Do you remember anything like? this or were some operators fitting them with various makes of the right size.
