Anyone having trouble with FSMetar? Mine doesn't work, even though I just downloaded the latest version, FSMetar154. Had no problems before today.

Me too...
Have found it not downloading data from VATSIM for several days now and so have been using the regular FS weather instead. Don't know if it's a data server issue or something else and perhaps the servers are no longer providing data.

Try this, seems like they've changed the link to the weather server. Found the info in a post on Sim-outhouse. Quote: If you change the VATSIM line in the FSMetar.ini file it works fine again, so:
Remove: "VatsimURL = usa-s1.vatsim.net/data/metar.php?id=ALL"
and substitute with: "VatsimURL = metar.vatsim.net/metar.php?id=all"
And everything should be back to normal.Al

Herman,
Open the FSMetar folder, and find FSMetar.ini. Open that file, and make the change that Al suggested. Then save the file and you're back in business.
I suggest that your first make a copy of the original FSMetar.ini file and save it as, say, OldFSMetar.ini before making the change, just in case.

OK, thank you Art for your direction.
I may not require to do this,as this morning it all seemed to work OK again.
