Hi, I think that's a Trans Continental livery, not the old Continental airlines. Whoops! Quite right. I have the two textures referred to in other posts - Continental N90960 and N90961 - I would by happy to pass these by email to those in need. Please PM me with your email address if this would help. Hi, I should add here that I think these textures by Wayne Tudor are wonderful.. and I hope he will consider doing one for the default DC3 as the only one I have found for that has reversed lettering on the tail ! Andy.

Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid reversed lettering on the tail of the default DC-3 - it is how the plane was constructed...

Andy,
MAAM has done a great DC-3 - one that you can place writing on the tail and it comes out right on both sides. Unfortunately, it is a payware. If you decide to purchase it, I have a Continental Airlines livery I did for it - with the help of Wayne Tudor. He is an excellent artist!

Yes, it is payware but it is the best add-on I have paid for and I have never looked back. There are a huge number of liveries available (civil and military) and in all respects it is so much better than the default FS one.
And the money you pay does not go into anybody's pockets - the developers did it for free and the money goes towards the restoration of the MAAM's own DC-3 (or R4D-6, if you prefer).

Hi, I had the CD of theirs' of the DC3, but in clearing up a couple of years ago it has gone missing and I haven't yet decided whether to buy another one, because as soon as I do the missing one will reappear and bring back with it the B25 CD which also went AWOL. Very awkward these CDs. Andy.

Andy, you can send them an email telling them of your problem and they can check their records for your purchase. Once verified, they will give you a download site to download the birds and reinstall them. I had that problem once before when the CD I had became unuseable due to a large scratch.
