Hi all,
Mike Stevens has updated the MATS AI traffic package. He has improved almost every livery, added some new ones (including Arctic Red versions), and also improved the traffic file.
It's available now from my AI Aircraft page. Let me know if you see any problems.
Enjoy,

Many of the destinations in the Pacific the traffic is scheduled to fly to are not yet available with AFCADS with parking spots.
All these AFCADS will be available when the new South Pacific 1962 scenery is released. They will be backdated and many of them will contain scenery objects. The big ones like Naha and Guam and Pago Pago and the like, will contain fully detailed scenery.

Hi I'm just starting to get to grips with AI and as my first try out installed this MATS package although I never had version 1. All the aircraft listed in reply 4 appear in my Aircraft folder but only about half of them show up on my aircraft selection list. For example I have two navy C-118s but no USAF and no C-124 or C-54 at all. Do I need version 1 first? Or have I missed something during installation?

Hi,
Actually, NONE of them should show up on your aircraft selection list. The should all be hidden from view, as they are not meant to ever be flown.
I forgot to change the model back to invisible before I sent off the traffic to Tom. I had made the aircraft visible so I could check the paints in FS. This will be corrected in an update.
I did notice this last night, three minor goofs on textures, one for a bad cheatline on a USAF C54, the Navy arctic C118 had one wing with upside down insignia, and the other was a USAF C46 with bad prop tip textures. Those can be gotten with the update when that happens, or I can send you those three textures now if you just email me. Click on my profile and the email address will come up. All you will have to do is move each texture into the correct folder and say yes to overwrite exisiting file.
Maybe someday somebody will do a set of textures for the flyable versions of these aircraft to match the AI versions we have now.
Sorry for the troubles but working on these things late at night, you get cross eyed and every so often you're bound to miss something here or there.
Keep in mind, not all the destinations on the latest MATS traffic bgl have parking spots. You can get all those AFCADS when Wolfgang and I finish South Pacific 1962 scenery and release it.
regards, Mike

Hi,
The 3 texture fixes are also now available in the package on my AI Aircraft page.
Hope this helps,

Tom, please can you confirm that the file has actually been updated despite the fact that the web page still shows it as having been updated on 4th August. I only ask because, now that I have a download allowance, I find it frustrating to grab a copy of a file that was supposedly updated only to find that it's exactly the same as the original file I got, thanks in advance, Ro

Tom, sorry, it seems I didn't express my question clearly enough. Your post above about texture fixes is dated 6th August, but the file was "posted" on 4th August. Does this mean that the corrected textures are in the file available for download since the 4th ? TIA, Ro

As far as I know, he released the file, a day or two later I discovered and sent him the fixes, then he emailed me and said he had updated the file with all the fixes.

The 3 files were indeed added on August 6th. So if you downloaded the file on August 4th or 5th, you would need to download it again to get the three fixed files. Or, you can email Mike for the updated textures, as he offers.
Hope this helps,
