Here's my take regards, Macs On first glance this struck me as a picture of the real plane. And then that thought brought home what we now have to enjoy. Russ

Guys --
I am having so much fun flying these things!
Now I hate to seem as if I am a glutton , but is there a schedule of repaints coming out? a schedule of model releases?

G'Day All
All my birthdays have come at once. As a 12 year old I was given the "Eagle Book of Aircraft"( which I still have) the stand out picture for me was of an Ethiopian CV-240, ET-T-21 taking off on a demo flight with no.1 feathered and smoke billowing from a JATO pack mounted under the fuselage. From then on, this was a favourite airline colour scheme and now I have not only a Connie but a Convair in that paint. I wonder if I press the "I" key on take-off I too can shut down an engine and climb out like the one like the one in that long ago picture. Hmmm.
Your efforts are much appreciated, Trev. (vhbob)

Hi,
You can add shockwave lights to any plane, AFAIK. A suggestion would be to change the landing lights from the bright white halogen models to the more yellow incandescent ones - I know they have that option.
Hope this helps,

Hi
I tried the advise of shockwave as good as I understand and modified the
DC-6B CB16 Aircraft CFG (LIGHTS):
. . light.11 = 6, 6.00, 28.80, -1.0, DC-6_HP_R_Flame ; engine 4 light.12 = 7, 6.35, 28.80, -1.0, DC-6_LP_R_Flame ; engine 4 //cargo hold lights light.13 = 8, 18.5, 2.6, -2.75, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave light light.14 = 8, -22.5, 2.6, -2.75, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave light //light.15=4, 32, -2.50, 3.0, fx_vclight ,
and the dc6pnlKMCC Panel CFG (Vcockpit01): . . gauge95=Z_DC6KMTG!ENG_OIL_COLD, 0,0,20,20 gauge96=Z_DC6KMTG!ENG_POWER, 0,0,20,20 gauge97=Z_DC6KM!NO_PANEL, 58,94,15,15 gauge98=shockwave_lights!SW Lights, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light
but no effect.
I think there must be another step. Anyone any idea?
Werner

Pardon my ignorance but where do I find the C-131 versions? I just this morning realized the CV-240 had been rebuilt but I can't seem to find the cargo versions.
