these 3 will be the ones for the initial release. We'll have to see about the details of the further releases. Maarten has made an excellent KLM version and Frank already has a lot of different ones ready.
Look at that, another amazing plane in the works. I have been away from FSX a while now due my gaming pc taking flight to a better place. But will soon be ordering a nice good pc. And boy now i look even more forward to getting back behind the controls again!
Awesome work you guys! I can't wait to fly the Connies again.

in case you're wondering: we're getting closer to release. Just a few more details. Whille we're at it, here are some further previews:
Note that both aircraft were converted to long-range L-149 by adding L-749 outboard fuel tanks - you can spot the fuel dump ports on the wings trailing edge between flaps and aileron. The L-149 will be released a bit later than the L-49, though.

Yep, the KLM version carries a Speedpak, too. In fact, KLM was one of the first users of the Speedpak, too. But both aircraft have fuel dump ports on the wings, just as a L-149 should. The El Al does not have a Speedpak fitted, I don't know if they used it. It was more typically carried by L-749's, anyway.
those are speedpacks. I thought those were for carrying cargo?
I think you're confusing 2 items he's talking about. The outboard tanks (a la 749) are indicated by the fuel dump ports between the flaps and the ailerons and the additional fuel filler caps on the top of the wing, not the Speedpack. He didn't say anything about the Speedpack until you said something about it.

ohhhh, I see, now. lol I guess I have a bit more to learn about the Connie than I thought.
btw, I was browsing through some old magazines on Google Books, and one had a special on the Lockheed Constellation. it was dated in 1943 and it said that the constellation could go as high as FL 350...is that true? I know the connie is fast and could outrun the Mitsubishi Zero, but I didn't know it could go THAT high!
