There is a site that claims that version 4.7 was released by the author as freeware before the author's web site shut down. There is a download link here, along with a quick tutorial: www.bobholland.com/fs/fsnav/default.htmI don't have much more information, although flightsim.com forum moderator JSkorna says it appears to be a fully working version. Hope this helps,

I've been using FSNav 4.7 for years now, and I HIGHLY recommend it. For those with systems that are pushing their limits, I recommend it even more, as it uses far fewer resources that Plan G does. (...not knocking Plan G here. It just uses more Horsepower)
Thanks, Bob Holland! ;D

FSnav is a good idea too if for some reason you find yourself flying online and the Control does not want to hear reasons and demands of your DC3 a complete modern day digital navigation compliance ... or at least emulation ( and it's happened). And it's better to have FSnav available in such a case, than trying to use other tools like VASfmc.

I have used the pay version ever since its release and also every version up to 4.7. For FS9 you cant really beat it. Keeping up to date (if flying online with Vatsim/Ivao), it is possible to have the latest airway/intersection data from Navigraph but at a cost. Tom, it may be so, but I cannot recall 4.7 being released as freeware but I may be wrong. I have uploaded current as of March2011 SIDs/STARs for all of the Alaskan airports with published plates to Avsim if its of any use to anyone engaged in flying the Everts routes in the 6. library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004fp&DLID=157653Regards David
