The idea: make new backdated airports to add to already done backdated airports, for our Classic World.
The backdated range dates: 1956-1963 (depends on information i found)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Work in progress) (for Prepar3D and for FS91
Lyon Airport (LFLY) Designers: Gérard Benoit & Alejandro Ramirez ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next scenerys:
- Chambery Air Base (LFLB) - Annemase airfield (LFLI)
- Lyon City Landmarks backdated 1960
Best Regard
Alejandro

Hi Alejandro,
Thar's a very ambitious list! But I'm not complaining about. You mention Lyon-Satolas - you certainly meant Lyon-Bron, actually under preparation.
Cheers, Bernard

Hi Bernard, Not, i talked about Lyon Satolas, at that time, Satolas was a little tiny grass airport, and LFLY Bron "Lyon airport", was the only real airport in the area. In 70S, began the construction of Satolas Airport, and in 1975 LFLY Bron Airport, stopped commercial use, and the new big Satolas airport LFLL became the new Lyon Airport, with two runways, and very larger that LFLY that became a GA airport. The actual name of Satolas Airport is "Saint Exupery International Airport". For FCP 61, i will make the "tiny grass aiport" For Grenoble, same, "Grenoble Mermoz", not exist anymore, in 1968, they builded Grenoble St Geoirs LFLG to replace it. (i will need to do a lot of research to obtain information to do it) Cheers Alejandro Cheers

Thanks Alejandro. I didn't know that was already an airfield at the actual Satolas site. Sorry for my assumption!
Cheers, Bernard

Awesome that what started as Californian classic sceneries has grown to cover parts of Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, etc.
A classic France pack will be highly anticipated, and thoroughly enjoyed.
Somewhat off-topic: a really nice French scenery is Pascal Dumont's Loire Valley Chateaux (4 of them). They are stunningly beautiful - think of them as a "Classic French 1660" LOL. More of a "low and slow" type of addon as opposed to airliner/airport scenery, but worth mentioning.
Merci (y muchas gracias) Alejandro

Hi,
The latest beta version of ADE does ground polygons, but just for simple lines and polygons. For real airport backgrounds you'll probably want to use GMAX/Sketchup and ModelConverterX.
