Actually, the tail had 12 sq. ft. more area, not 11 ft taller.

Boy I wish those old CV580's had a 11 more feet. It would have been nice to have it block the howling Northwest wind right off Lake Superior, when You were loading it at 05:35 and the temp was hovering around -15F. Of course right now out here in the West -15F doesn't sound so bad....

And so if I have screenshot of CV-580, will viewers be able to tell difference between CV-440 and CV-580?
Regards,
Aharon

These are just brilliant! You should make a paint kit. An all white one and a bare metal one for all to enjoy! I would use both in my Sim!! You have all of the rivets and lines perfect!!

>>The 580 had a longer tail fin, I believe they added 11 ft. to the tail section<<
18 inches, if I remember correctly. But it's been a long time since I cracked open any of my old 580 manuals.

Wow those are just superb
My husband has retired from North Central/Republic/Northwest. He worked in Detroit to start and ended up at the Tampa FL to retire, I would truly love to get a print of your CV 580 left front picture. Is that possible to buy a print?
It would mean the world to him.
Thank you Carolyn

I know that Photo Bucket the site I use to web host my shots here at Cals Classic Propliners offer that kind of service. They run Photo Gifts, and Canvas prints of photo's you have uploaded to their site. Just exactly how that would work I don't know as I have never done that before. Taking a photo and having a print made of it I mean. It does require a free sign up membership to join Photo Bucket, then uploaded photo(s)to a Album you create in your Library, then you go to the Photo Gifts for prints to be made. Is how I believe this would work, this is how I would do it for starters. I can send you via your email the original 32-bitmap image I have, so you can upload it to your account Photo Bucket (once created) and the Album you created for the storing of the image. Send me a private message here at these forums with your email and I'll get the original image to you. Click here for link to Photo Bucket and Sign Up
