Some years ago I already tried to create some videos with Fraps. Bobn's thread induced me to try it again. Unfortunately Fraps slow down the capture - although some dropouts are due to the scenery and traffic density. All aircraft and the VW Volkswagen are AI, some static flyable, but not objects.
Thanks Sabi for the nice scenery!

Hi Bernard
Really good presentation of this great scenery. By the way you motivated me to download this Beetle to explore classic sceneries.
Bons vols !

Nice. The only suggestion I have is to replace the Beetle's drone with music.

Very nice. It plays much more smoothly if you play it directly from YouTube rather than from the embeded link. It's nothing wrong with this site. It's an issue with embeded YouTube video's.
If you set fraps to save the screen recording to a drive other than the one FS is on, you should get a bit better results. I have a portable SATA drive. It helped quite a bit.
I would turn off reflection. That will probably help smoothness of the video but more importantly, cars don't reflect sky textures that much.
Well done.
Hope this helps
Bob

One more quick note. It looks like you're using a weather generator or you set a weather theme of low visability. I would suggest not using that at all while using Fraps. Instead, set the weather within FS to partly cloudy. Things like fog and low visability weather have a high impact on hardware.
Also, the reflection on the Beetle doesn't match the sky conditions.

Thanks Sabi for the nice scenery!
You're welcome and thanks for the compliments. I am trying to wrap all the Northern bases and Tunis these days. I'll keep you posted. Cheers Sabi
