Hi Bill,
Thank you very much for the photo of N7822C in Bahamasair livery!!! As I mentioned above I know that Bahamasair leased DC-6 from Florida Air Transport, but never saw a photo, so I tought it was in neutral colours as usual by this operators. Oh yeah, learning is never ending, thank You again.
By the way, the DC-6A N9232Z (c/n 44915) had the last two letters ID of her former french registration F-BRID retained on the nosewheel doors during her service wis TASA. That is visible at the airlinernet picture.

Right click the image on that page, choose View Image. Copy the resulting link. Then click the Image button in this forum and paste the link into the forum as an Image.
But that page doesn't allow right clicking, so you can only post the HTML link, as you did.

Thanks Tom. Looks like they want to protect the copyright.
Planelogger.com seems to be a very neat resource. You have to register but that's easy. I found it when just trying a websearch on the other DC-6, N9232Z, and then found you could search by airline. Bahamasair's sole C-46 also has an interesting and extensive history.

Maarten/Stansdds,
I don't think you need to apologise as what you both reported is quite correct but in relation to Bahamas Airways, not Bahamasair. Seems that the latter was and still is a State owned entity which started operations about the same time as Bahamas Airways ceased operating.

Late 1980's and early 1990's caribbean cargo hauling was and still is pretty cool to research. I'd love to see some Bellomy-Lawson liveries/hybrids...

Late 1980's and early 1990's caribbean cargo hauling was and still is pretty cool to research. Yep Cgold ALM airline used Electras to do cargo hauling flights between Caribbean islands. Too bad there is no ALM cargo livery for KBT Electra. Regards, Aharon

Hi Aharon, Bahamasair DC-6A: available at Avsim.com and Flightsim.com. Cheers, Maarten Thanks, pal!! Puzzled me that this livery is 24 MB file size. Never heard of 24 MB file size livery for Cal Classics DC-6??? I thought the average is about 2 MB. Regards, Aharon

Too bad there is no ALM cargo livery for KBT Electra. Regards, Aharon The other day I recived a brand new booklet about DC-6/DC-6A/DC-6B aircraft used by Dutch companies. It even includes a b/w photo and a colour drawing of ALM's DC-6BF PJ-DSA. (I just found on the internet 3 practical colour photos of this Six) It is my to do list to make a repaint featuring this rare bird as soon as I have the time for it. I'll have to leave the Electra job to someone else as I don't have FSX on my PC. Cheers, Maarten
