Hi Guys, I have almost completed installing our retro 1962 LAX scenery into FSX. One real problem is that the tower structure is a no show. I have installed all the prerequisite folders (including the EZ Scenery Library), but still no tower. I have compared notes with a friend that has done the same - but he has the tower. Can some kind sole please tell me which library the tower is being drawn from. Even using ModelConverterX, I havn't found where it's located. Lastly - there is that nasty Fs9 shoreline and beach that don't match the FSX shoreline (I fully realize that I'm installing it in FSX - which it wasn't designed for). Is there a solution to removing that Fs9 aspect? I don't think that my FSX earth movers can work out into the water. HELP, no one can land or take-off with no tower!
Best regards, Bill

I'm not really sure how to solve the issue, but (do correct me if I'm wrong) the tower comes from either the default LAX library or klax_library.bgl in the Calclassic core file. In any case, if you're willing to wait, I have a new rendition of LAX on the way, and so far all of my sceneries have been FSX compatible according to others, so I don't see why this one won't be.

It's in Addon Scenery/CA62/klax_62_library.bgl (and in Addon Scenery/CA59/klax_59_library.bgl).
Hope this helps,

Hi Chris, Great news about your new rendition of LAX. I'll be eagerly awaiting it. I'll solve the tower problem - but the extended California Fs9 shoreline and beach needs to be a separate file (so that FSX users can remove it). The beach runs both offshore, as well as inland in FSX, due to the mismatch between Fs9 and FSX scenery location. Thanks to both you and Tom for the replies. Bill
