I will add an experience of my own with Windows 7 which may possibly be useful to someone. I have recently replaced a conventional C Drive running Windows XP with a solid state drive running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I had copied the C drive FS9 files to an external hard drive and of course could then transfer them to the Windows 7 system. So far so good. I then ran the Flight One Registry tool to insert the location of my FS9.exe into the Registry. However, when i tried to install first FS Real Time and then the FS Widgets Electronic Flight Bag both told me they could not find the installation path. I then tried the TweakFS registry tool, with the same result, although even more curiously it recorded the Registry as having the correct entry (there is slightly more to it than the Flight One utility). Involved with the creation of the TweakFS tool was Fermin Fernandez, who is also responsible for the FS Widgets Electronic Flight Bag, and as I have found him extremely helpful in the past I sent him an e-mail asking for his thoughts. He replied that before using the registry tool I should turn off UAC and then right-click on the tool and select Run as Administrator. I did this and all was then well, both the programs to which I have referred installing without a problem. I doubt if one can go wrong using Run as Administrator - I tend to use it with FS9 itself - and if odd things are happening it is worth bearing in mind. Hope this helps, Ken
