Hi,
An error did indeed slip past me (that's not surprising - with a project this large, I'm sure there are more mistakes in there).
I can see ventral stairs on that model, so it is the Western CV-240. If you would like to fix that, do the following:
1. In your Aircraft folder, find the aicv240 folder and open it. 2. Open the aircraft.cfg file, and go to the second livery (Western Airlines). 3. Change this line:
model=ventral_gp
to:
model=ventral
4. Change this line:
texture=wal_gp
to:
texture=wal
(you are removing the _gp from both lines).
5. Save the file.
This will be fixed in the next update - thanks for finding and reporting this!

While fixing my copy of the aircraft.cfg, I noticed that the American Air Lines AI CV-240 may have a problem. The aircraft.cfg calls up "model=gp" and "texture=aal_gp", but the texture folder is "texture.aal"

Thanks for letting me know. Turns out this had been found and fixed for the next update, but I do appreciate any help. Yes, just delete the _gp from the model= and the texture= lines. Do a search for gp in the entire file, to make sure there are no others.

Oops - just checked and I don't seem to have got around to installing the 2013/2014 updates (now happening).
Apologies for any confusion.

I guess that most forum members will be familiar with Peter van der Veen's utility Aircraft Analyzer (I always use the 'light' version) but if not the link is below. Point it to your fs9.exe and it will produce a list of inconsistencies in your aircraft cfg files, if indeed any exist. Whether these inconsistencies actually do any harm apart from the affected aircraft not displaying properly I am unsure. Ken aifs2.pvdveen.net/?p=177

Always a good idea to check this type of thing every so often, I agree. I use ACA and similar programs to catch errors but it won't catch this error on my machine, since the _gp texture folder *does* exist on my computer.
