I always was wondering where all the wood trunks stocked here at Heliport Paris in "Central Europe 1961" scenery came from.
While backdating some further Central African airports I thought that they could be shipped here at Libreville, Gabon:
Anyway, Gabon is one of the most important exporter of Okoumé wood or also called Gaboon. This wood is mainly used to manufacture plywood. And it's particularly Interesting that Gaboon plywood is also used in the French aircraft industry to make light aeroplanes, such as those built by Avions Robin and its well known Jodel.
