I changed computers and installed the fsx version of Hawaii '59 but shows modern ai aircraft. I know I had period correct ai aircraft before so do I need to download the ai aircraft files also any else needed to have them show up at the airport?

If you haven't installed the AI into FSX, then you will have to do so to see them.

Yes, go to my AI Aircraft page and download the required files. These should be installed into FSX. Remember that any files found after the installation in the FSX/Aircraft folder need to be moved to the FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes folder, unless you have edited the xml file to include that folder in your FSX file search.

What I tried was to download just one file (b377) and open it in a folder on my desktop and then found the ai aircraft file and copy/pasted that to my fsx simobjects/airplanes folder but still did not show up. Do I have to download flight plans as well?

Do I have to download flight plans as well? Yes. The flight plans are what make the aircraft actually show up. The AI files themselves are the physical aircraft. You need to have both files installed and both active. This means every file for AI....all 13 of them!

If you only want the 377, in addition to placing the aircraft folder into the SimObjects/Airplanes folder you also need to download and install File #9, which contains the flight plans.

I love it, really great work, thanks. Screenshots taken at DSR 4k in FSX DX10 with DX10 Fixer applied.

Glad you got it working - looks great! Note that Hawaiian usually parked at their terminal on the other side of the airport.
