Hi,
While performing a landing in the CV-580 (using VC), I noticed that I had to consistently use too low an indicated airspeed in order to arrive at the proper angle of attack. Then I discovered that the rotation point of the needle of the air speed indicator was located a bit too high, resulting in the air speed needle indicating approximately 13 knots too low, when flying near Vref (needle horizontal). The solution is quite easy: 1. In the main flight sim directory go to the folder ../aircraft/580panel. 2. Open the file panel.cfg (using notepad) and go to the section [Vcockpit01]. 3. Replace the line gauge07=cv580asi!cv580asi, 252,109,204,201 by gauge07=cv580asi!cv580asi, 252,122,204,201 4. Save
Regards,
Henri

Sorry if I am totally clueless in programming but is this only for VC or is it required too for 2D panel? I am about to take first CV-580 flight soon also in Alaska.
Regards,
Aharon
