I have downloaded the basic Pacific Southwest Airlines L-188 Electra and the Convair C-580 for the sound. I have pasted the L188A Electra CB, L188A Electra JL, L188C CB and L188C JL files in the FSX Airplanes directory. I also have downloaded the FSX version and the KBT base pack and pasted it in the FSX Airplanes directory. When I select the panel I am missing 4 gauges. Does this Electra version use Gauges from an Airplane what is not present in FSX? The older KingAir? Switching for instance the battery switch is causing a fatal error. What am I doing wrong or did I forget to do? The KBT version seems to function OK as a standalone.

Hi,
The CalClassic Electra is not FSX compatible. Use the KBT version in FSX.
Hope this helps,

Thank you Tom.
The DC 6-B CB 16 has the same problem with the Gauges.
The DC 7 is OK

I use the DC-6B in FSX all the time without problems. What are the missing gauges?

When I overwrite the DC6's Panel file with:
[fltsim]
//alias=C182\panel
//If you use the DC-7 IFR Panel, change the line above to:
alias=dc7pnlKMCC
//(without the double slashes)
//Copyright 2002 by Tom Gibson
Everything is OK.
The dc 6 KMCC panel seems to be the trouble.
The missing instruments are:
Cockpit view: Cockpit
Engine 3 & 4 RPM NR: 24
2 X instruments NR: 26
The righthand BMAP
The righthand NR: 33

Hi,
Check you have the following files:
FS/Gauges/Z_DC6KMTG/BMEP2800_34.xml FS/Gauges/Z_DC6KMTG/RPM_3.xml FS/Gauges/Z_DC6KMTG/RPM_4.xml
And that your FS/SimObjects/Airplanes/dc6pnlKMCC/panel.cfg file contains:
in [Window00]:
gauge04=Z_DC6KMTG!BMEP2800_34, 1254,804,117,116
gauge53=Z_DC6KMTG!RPM_3, 1301,682,116,116 gauge54=Z_DC6KMTG!RPM_4, 1439,682,116,116
If so, then they should be showing up in the 2D panel.
Hope this helps,
