This may actually be a dumb question, but I've been flying cigar tubes around the stratosphere for a few months and lost track of a lot of my propliner files. Is there somewhere I can get the Super Connie Notepad files? I found them excellent, but the only reference I can find to them is the old temp download from back when Tom was testing them.

Hi,
A few of us tested it out and it's quite workable as it is although Tom thought he might be able to further improve the fuel loading tank distribution and maybe the recommended power settings with the intention of the improved version being included in any Connie update. However, it came too late for the last Starliner updated release and there are no immediate plans for a Super Connie update. It's on some of my panels however.
Best regards
Bill

Thanks. I guess I must have missed some of the issues. Such is beta testing...

Is the Notepad available for download somewhere? It certainly would be a great addition in any state.

Thanks Tom. I'll try the link when I get home. We are moving Tanner into UGA at the moment. Did you get the DC-6 AOM.

Got the Notepad installed per the readme. But, I cannot see the notepad in either the 2D or VC cockpit when checked in the Views/InstrumentPaneldrop down. I'm using FSX exclusively these days. FS9 got corrupted and I haven't been able to piece it back together. Is the Notepad compatable with FSX?

All the Notepads have worked OK for me in FSX SP2.
If you are expecting to get the Notepads to appear using the small icon on the main panel, the panel.cfg idents must be as stated in my instructions (ident=10070, etc.).

Oh duh...I had the files in the panel folder instead of the CaClassic folder. Looking forward to some flight test in the 1049G!

Hi: I have made two flights (meteo: february) with the L1649A Starliner, using the notepad. Berlin to Roma London to San-Francisco (long range econ cruise, great circle) The calculated fuel was OK for both. I have landed with approxymatly 7% fuel remaining. (The calculated fuel London to San-F was 80% with standard load) Thank you for the notepads ! All the best.

Tom, My apologies if I have missed something obvious here, but I have no 'small icon' on the main panel and the instructions in your download do not seem to say anything about how to put one there, Ken

You need to add lines to the plane's panel.cfg file.
Add this as the last line of the Window00 section, and renumber the gaugenn number so it is consecutive.
gauge45=CalClassic!Notepad_open_pic, 226,765,30,45
and a line to the VCockpit01 section (also do the renumbering):
gauge51=CalClassic!Notepad_open_pic, 971,573,36,38
These are what I use for the L1049G panel.
Hope this helps,

It would help, Tom, and thank you, if it worked. Unfortunately there is still no icon visible in either the vc or the 2d cockpit even after I added the lines you suggested. I have tried the jpg file in the download in both the FS9 gauges folder and the aircraft's panel folder, Ken
