Hi all, On my 1920 x 1080 wide screen monitor, the fields to change values in the Fuel Planner/notepad are not aligned with the numbers that have to be changed. It never bothered me too much, but now I want to correct it, if possible. I always fly in windowed mode. See image for an example. All corresponding files have been updated to the latest release of the DC-6B CB-16. Both, "default" and "Wide screen" panel.cfg give the same problem. Resizing by dragging of the notepad window also does not cure the problem. I have searched the manuals and the forum but could not find a topic regarding this issue. Does anyone have an idea how to change parameters in a certain file to align those fields? cheers, Rob

Unfortunately, as you can see the location of the click spots are sensitive to things like screen resolution, etc., so you might need to tweak them for your machine. There are two ways to do this.
Temporary:
Drag the right edge of the Notepad to the left so the numbers slide to the left into the positions of those red boxes.
Permanent:
In the panel.cfg file, look at the three Notepad sections. They look similar to this:
//-------------------------------------------------------- [Window10] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=329,740 window_size_ratio=1.000 position=0 visible=1 ident=10070 window_size= 0.190, 0.590 window_pos= 0.000, 0.000
gauge00=Z_DC6KMTG!Notepad_F_DC6, 0,0,342,750
There are two other sections just below this.
In the line:
window_size= 0.190, 0.590
Make the 0.190 number smaller (in your case) and reload the plane. Continue this until the numbers line up with the click spots. When they do, use the same number in the other two Notepad sections.
Hope this helps,

PS. I hope your destination IAP really isn't at 62,000 ft.

PPS. The other way to change this is to change the coding of the gauge itself, but this is a little more complicated.

Tom, Thanks for your quick answer. IAP at 62,000 ft...... that's what you get when the select boxes are not aligned... window_size= 0.170, 0.590 now works fine on the 1920 x 1080 screen. cheers, Rob
