Hi Tom, While you were on your vacation, I sent over a request to Wayne, for the Syrian Arab Airlines DC-6B that was painted by Frank. He replied that you have all the aircraft that Frank did, and said he would forward my request to you. Here is the link to it: tripletails.weebly.com/syrain-arab-airlines.htmlNow that you're back, do you happen to have this particular plane from Frank's collection? If so, could you make it available? Thanks. Ted

Hi,
I’m not back yet, just back to civilization. When I get back later this week I’ll see if I can find it. Is this for FS9 or FSX?

Hi Tom, sorry, I thought you were back from your break.
I'd prefer it to be for FSX.
Thanks

Hi,
By request, I've uploaded a TAI DC-6B. It's now available on Frank's page and on flightsim.com.
Enjoy,

"THANKS" Tom .... that'll be a nice one to use to, and around, Tahiti/French Polynesia BTW .... and perhaps I shouldn't ask this here, but, did Frank .... or has anyone else to date .... made a decent texture featuring the AIR POLYSESIE DC-4 that was base on Tahiti for service around the islands of French Polynesia during the 1960's ? I think it was later replaced by an FH-227. This's the only picture/s I could find of it .... F-BBDR And here's the later FH-227 also .... just for good measure .... Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi,
F-BBDR was originally bought by American Airlines from the USAF in 1946. It was then bought by SGACC in 1953, and UTA in 1967. It then went to Air Polynesie in 1/71, who sold it to Air Commores in 12/73. It was then used by several airlines in Africa (and the Sought African Air Force) until 1994.
Hope this helps,

I presume neither the DC-4 or F-27 are available for FS, as yet, n "AIR POLYNESIE" livery ? I did search .... but ... .never saw anything using m search methods .... so .... if these do already exist then I've missed them for that reason. Just "curious" Mark AKL/NZ

I have an Air Polynesie DC-4 (F-BBDR) for the old FS Berlin model. I know the model is a bit outdated now but that doesn't really bother me. It should be available somewhere if wanted, but probably listed as FS2002.
There is also a JBK-model Polynesian Airlines 5W-FAD but I guess that is a completely different airline and era. Certainly the livery is completely different.

Yes .... POLYNESIAN AIRLINES is/was an entirely different and Western Samoa (not Pago Pago/American Samoa) based operator. I know/remember the AIR BELIN model .... I think the AIR POLYNESIE livery for it was made by my old friend Gilles MERCIER of FSFT .... upon my suggestion at that time. I do have that particular texture for this older FS2000/2 based model. Thanks anyway John AIR POLYNESIE was Tahiti/French Polynesia based .... evolving our of RAI (as Tom mentioned) .... and I think it eventually became today AIR TAHITI (not to be confused with AIR TAHITI NUI) which is the domestic airline of French Polynesia. Hi,
Correct. We have a Percival Pembroke flying for Polynesian Airlines in the AI traffic, while a DC-4 flies for RAI.
