Hi,
i tested, my Calclassic AI traffic, that i compile in FSX format, and work without problems on FSX and P3D V3.4 but, sadly, i discover, that in Prepar3D V4, the wheels, and the stairs, and the propellers, don't show up.
Someone have an idea, if it's possible to fix that?
How can i do that?
Thanks in advance

I hope someone can suggest a fix. I want to go to V4, but refuse to fly with modern traffic.
One question, we're you using the low res AI's or the HQ?

I think you would have to convert the aircraft models to at least FSX format?

Hi,
Yes, you would use ModelConverterX. But AFAIK Arno has never gotten all the FS9 animations to convert successfully (especially the custom ones I use in my AI models), so the only way I know is to export it to 3DS format, load into GMAX, and completely reanimate the plane. That's no easy process.

Hi Tom, thanks to answer,
seems very complicated, and i not have a lot of free time (and i use Blender not Gmax).
maybe someone will do it in a near future.
i am very busy doing my scenerys right now, can't sadly put time on it.
but, it's true, that AI vintage Traffic, is something that i miss a lot on P3D V4.

Hi guys, After trying many things with MCX, I can confirm it doesn't work, unfortunately, now that the PMDG DC6 is out, I really miss my classic sceneries and ai traffic

Sorry to hear this as I think P3D V4 is the future of our hobby. Just don't know if I will be able to stand flying in modern scenery with (ugh) Jets. Thank you for trying.

Same for me, that's the reason I still didn't get the A2A 377, Connie or the new DC6 of PMDG. I'm feeling very frustrated to miss these masterpieces but on the other side I know I would be very frustrated too if I flew with them in a 2017 environment...

that can be the depart for the huge task of converting our wonderfull cc world to the 64 bits world

Hi Gavin,
I saw mention of your tutorial elsewhere and downloaded it but haven't tried it yet. Thanks for producing it.

Basically,
To have a functional CC P3D V4 calclassic AI traffic, we need, FSX native AI aircraft, and a FSX (or P3D V4) ai .bgl traffic file
If one day, we have FSX CC native ai aircraft,
good news, they can work (with better frame rates), on FSX/P3D V1,V2,V3,V4
considering the size of the wonderfull Fs91 cc ai aircraft library today, could be nice to have a batch process on MCX to convert its (as we have for library objects). but, there is not
