I have uploaded the CalClassic AI package for P3Dv4 to Flightsim.com. (Search for CalClassic in Prepar3d/Miscellaneous) There are five Core file installers and then the traffic file installers. A Readme PDF file is included in each zip file.
The models and textures are basically the same as the FS9 models, so don't expect any "Earth Shattering" improvements there. LOL They have just been updated to FSX/P3D native models and textures to DDS.
I want to say Thank You to Tom Gibson for all of his help while doing this. I never could have gotten it done without him. And to blockwood for all of his help with testing and identifying problems.

installer work well!
Question: All the aircraft of the CC AI traffic was compiled? Or a set of them? (in some airports (La Guardia, Kennedy), i saw less ai aicrafts than on FS91. (I did something wrong, it's normal?) As i use all the CC traffic, i installed 3 traffic files, and i rename 57,59,62 to have all traffic.
Thanks in advance

I believe that almost all liveries were included, although some liveries use a more generic aircraft model.
Did you set the traffic sliders the same in P3D as you have in FS9? Most people I know set it to less than 100% in P3D, not so in FS9.
There may be a difference between how FS9 and P3D load up AI aircraft when you load an airport?

Wow ! edakridge , I'm so grateful you did this ! Thanks a lot ! +1 This is great. When I first started using P3D V4 I would only fly GA aircraft into GA fields as I did not like seeing all the modern jetliners...now you've given us the best of both worlds. I even found I could get rid of the jetways, at airports that did not have them yet in the early 60's, by using GSX V2. Thanks.

Thanks a bunch once again for this, works perfectly. I notice one plane though has black textures and no moving parts and that is the Catalina Vegas Model 18. I noticed this when flying out of Palm Springs. I thought I would make you aware.

The texture folder for this aircraft seems to be missing from the AI Beech 18 directory.

You could always download the FS9 version, install into a temp folder, get the catveg textures, convert them to DDS (if desired, not required), and add them to the B18 folder.

Haven't seen the Model 18 issue but have seen either a DC-4 or DC-6(B) that has the same issue...all black. I've seen it at both KPDX and KDEN. Can't tell you exactly what it is as I only get the AI identifier label if it moves...and it never moves. Have never seen it in the air...only at a gate. If there is a way to identify when not moving let me know and I'll try to find it again.
Thanks again for this great work.

sakura title=AI Beech Catalina Vegas Airlines texture=catveg The texture folder for this aircraft seems to be missing from the AI Beech 18 directory. Bill Thanks, I used Tom's advice and placed the texture into the plane's folder and worked perfect, now the only issue I have now is that the model 18 only has one prop animated and the right engine's prop doesn't spin. The left prop works as it should.

Hi,
You would need to download and install the Traffic Tools SDK (for FSX; I don't know if there is one for P3D). Then using the Traffic Tools Explorer, you could click each aircraft on the list and it will open a window that displays the aircraft. If it's black, then you read the info on that line.
Hope this helps,
