Do you mean the manifold pressure increases when you throw the supercharger switches? Hi Tom I check it right now, nothing happens on RPM when i put in high the supercharger, (low/high), in P3D is the same.

Hi, I fixed the trim tab knobs in the VC, they now move with the trim and the mouse. Same link - install the FSX version, and then the P3D overlay if using P3D. Trim in VC, work perfect! Thanks I discover the problem, with the flight controls, on P3D4, i can't go a lot to the right and to the left with the command, remain bloqued (about the red line (the picture is from FS91), is for that reason, that is more dificult to control and make it take off the plane i think if you arrive to fix that, engine power will be ok Attachments:

same picture (full right flight control), on P3D4 give that: Picture a (P3D4 without move flight control) Picture b (P3D4 moving full right the flight control) you can see that not move a lot... (compare to the picture from FS91 above) The first one is 'b', the other under is 'a' (the attachment in the forum, put it in invert sense) Note: for the "up/down" is the same, as i need to trim at maximum to arrive to take off on P3D, because "up" movement on control, not move a lot the control wings (all of them: right/left up/down) This is the problem, probably, if this up/down/right/left is solved, engine will be ok, not need more power. Are you using a yoke or joystick to control the ailerons? If so, you might want to check your settings in P3D for that axis, and make sure you have full control.
Nothing should happen to the RPM, it's the MAP that should increase when you throw the supercharger switches.

OK, I bit the bullet, bought P3D and installed it. On my computer the VC yoke turns just as far in P3D as it does in FS2004. So it must be something in your computer/yoke setup. I also had to swap the blurred prop texture from the FSX version (darker alpha channel) with the FS2004 version. If I didn't, the blurred/slow props were completely transparent. I've included that in the SetupP3D.exe installer now. The supercharger switches do not change the manifold pressure, so I've contacted Doug Dawson about a 64 bit version of the gauge.

Question - can anyone get the CV-340 landing light splash on the tarmac to display in P3D? Mine do not appear. The landing light splash on the default C-69 Connies are there though.
Thanks,

(to make a perfect simulator (if you not have already), i recommend you ORBX GLOBAL and ORBX TREE HD. Instant Scenery sadly not work on P3D4, but you have Simdirector (included) on P3D4 (that is not so bad, in this V4 version) To celebrate that, i will put (very soon) a download link on my thread, with the WIP version of RA1960 for P3D4, so P3D4 users, could have at last, one true native, P3D4 CC Scenery to play with Will be a kind of "early release" A lot of airports, are already almost finished: LFG1, LFLB, LFLE, LFLY, LFLE. And there are already a lot think to see. 2) I will re-chek on my configuration, but is Strange, other aircraft work ok with that. I use both a yoke Saitek and a Hotas, Saitek. (with both the same problem with the 340), i will check if i have the same problem with the other.

Question:
Someone know how to make the "bump maps", to make the metal parts of the 340 (or the DC-6) brillant as the T-80 from Piglet Peculiar Planes, that someone convert to native FSX... (i saw that in several freewares "port-over", but i Don't know if is possible to add this feature to a plane, without the sources, but in the case of 340 and DC-6, you have the "paint kit", right?
Second Question:
The liverys (FS91), are normally compatibles with (P3D4) right?
Thanks in advance

Hi, I don't plan on using it for much more than testing. While the frame rate is high without AI aircraft and addon scenery, I have little doubt this will not be the case with my little 2 GB video card if I load it up. I do not know how to make bump maps, sorry. You can add them with ModelConverterX if you like. The FS9 liveries are indeed compatible with P3D. The included United livery is unchanged from its FS2004 version.

(there are only textures) My scenery RA1960 P3D4, it's not heavy either on frame rate. I have an old graphic card also. The only thing is heavy on frame rate is ai traffic on P3D. But, normally, will work as FSX do, or better in same hardware.

Hi,
I have now added this separate FSX/P3D install package to my Convair page, and made the original Base Pack FS2004 only.
If you want to use the FS2004 MDL files in FSX, you will need to install the FS2004 Base Pack (can be to a temp folder), rename the model folders by adding _FS9 to their names, copying them into FSX, and specifying those in the model= lines of the aircraft.cfg file.
Note I have also completed this same update on the CV-440 Base Pack.
Enjoy,

I have now updated the FSX/P3D Base Pack because the fuel dumping/loading was not working in FSX (it was working in P3D). That has been fixed (I hope). Same link.
If you use only P3D this will be no problem. If you are using it with FSX and don't want to install it again, it involves editing one line of the panel.cfg file in the 340pnlKMCC folder.
In the VCockpit02 section change:
gauge35=dsd_fuel_dump!fuel_dump_transparent, 2,2,5,5,.\Gauges\CV_fuel_dump.ini
to:
gauge35=dsd_cc_fuel_dump!fuel_dump, 2,2,5,5
Hope this helps,
