Nice, liked this video. Good to see the DC-6 in colour and a focus on what is happening up front. The engine gauges caught my eye, flickering about constantly, nothing said so they must be like that a lot. Have to admire these guys work ethic, on arrival, FE gets up on the wing in blowing snow to do the refuel and the co-pilot gets to help unload using a trolley jack and muscle again in bitter conditions. I am sure the captain bogged in as well. Just looking at all that snow and ice made me shiver.

Great video. As for the gauge needles wavering a bit, you would see a little of this in cars and trucks too if it was not for the computer controls on every system in modern vehicles. What you see on your dashboard has been filtered and averaged, so you do not see the needles fluttering. Years ago... decades ago, I had a Ford Gran Torino that was my daily driver and weekend hotrod. Instead of relying on idiot lights, I installed gauges that were direct reading, no computers back then. The needles on these gauges tended to waver just a bit, except at high RPM.
