Nice! Mike Stevens has a similar collection of items he has used for painting. Very useful. And great job on the Western script too.
Thanks,

Thanks. over the years I have built quite a little library since some logos etc are very hard to find these days.

Anyway, Eric, great job on the font. Flew on a few Western flights as a kid (yes, the white jetliners), but this 50s super retro / art deco scheme is gorgeous. If you end up posting it, I'll certainly happily load it. It's really grown on me, and with this model getting a new lease on life in P3D, it'll be great. Thanks in advance.

Thanks DL, but I am always grateful for reference material. models, whatever. My 64 era "jet scheme" Western Airlines repaint uses an eggshell color because based on all the reference material i could find, that looked right. All is well, remain calm boys...

The issue was an entitlement or presumption to harp on a personal preference in a thread about a repainter's request for specific reference material. Anyway, I've edited out my comments for sake of peaceful coexistence. dl

Was unable to open the above mentioned link. Said "Access Denied" and something about hotlinking, whatever that is. Has anyone else had that problem? Yep. Hotlinking is linking to content (like an image) directly, as opposed to linking to the webpage containing it. It essentially uses bandwith from the site the content is on without that site being visited which gives it higher ratings, may have you browse it further et cetera.

Hi Erik That is much better. What a lovely photograph. Like others I also had the feeling that the top of Western's aircraft was more of a light cream rather than a white.

Kudos to Tom, to be sure: it's the same photo just with a working link.
