Did a shy attempt to add ground traffic to Idlewild. Due to lack of other suitable vehicles I use a repainted Willys Jeep - but unfortunately unmanned. Actually about twenty of these are circling at terminal areas.

That's cool! Looks good! What sim platform is that? Looks like FS9, but I'm not sure. I presume that's a former static object? Or a former driveable jeep turned into AI? I recall there being a driveable Willlys Jeep for FS9 but I discovered it after moving to the FSX and never got to try it. The European airports often have great static classic iconic vehicles like VW cars and microbuses that I always thought would make cool ramp-side vehicles. Way to add some life to an airport - great ingenuity. That put a smile on my face .... dl dl

That's what I use as AI ground traffic at Zurich Kloten with approbriate numberplate! The Willys Jeep is Bill Lyons' driveable FS9 model.

Ai ground traffic, can be created for and used in FS9 or FSX. With conversion of the vehicle to FSX format it can be used in P3D too

Thanks gents,
This will be something I look at after I've mastered converting some of my fave FS9 sceneries over to P3D. Ironically, Zurich is chief among my Calclassic Euro airports. Followed closely by Geneva. Ok, all the Calclassic Euro airports vie for 2nd place - they're all so good. But I have to start somewhere, so I think I'll start with Zurich. But not for a few weeks yet.
I'll tuck this away for when I try my hand at scenery conversion. Regardless, thanks for the shots - they're inspiring.
