Recently returned to simming the Calclassic DC-6B after several months in the DC-3. I was climbing and engaged the AP at 10000 and continued to 12000, I engaged the alt hold switch. I was in the range mode. After some time I needed to make a small heading change. I switched to heading mode and the used the turn knob. The alt hold switched off. I don't remember this happening in the past. Is this normal or has something happened to the AP? Thanks in advance. br

Some people have reported this behavior but I have not been able to replicate it. As long as your AP_NEW.xml gauge in the Gauges/Z_DC6KMTG folder is dated 5/19/2019 you have the latest version. This version seems to be working OK for me.

Thanks, Tom. The only date I was able to find in AP_NEW.xml gauge was 2018. I tried simming the DC-6B in FSX and AP worked ok. br

It's the Modified Date of the XML file, not a date inside the gauge.

Worked like a charm. Thanks, Tom. You're the reason that this is such a great forum.

I used this file as well, thanks Tom. What I discovered that one of the xml files (the AP_VC one) was missing from the relevant gauge directory - curious, anyway fixed now thankyou.
