Hi all,
I've converted the DC-6 models to FSX native and created a separate FSX/P3D Base Pack. On my DC-6 page.
Enjoy,

Great work Tom. I know this has been a big project. I really appreciate it and what can I say except it keeps these wonderful sim aircraft going well into the future now, so the effort is priceless because these models are gems, visually, technically and performance wise, the fidelity is amazing, particular like the loading and CoG movements which very much reflect what the real aeroplane would have been like, laterally and longitudinally. Certainly has improved them compared to running the older ones in FSX . May not have the eye candy in the VC of the payware versions but runs all over them for sheer class and technical correctness in every aspect I can see. I have spent the past few hours in the DC6 doing circuits and some simple Nav work, no issues at all that I can find. I think the Constellations will wait a long time now, these old Douglas's are very nice (once you learn to respect them). Thank you and well done. The DC-6 On the way back to Sydney today from Parkes NSW which is where BCPA used to take the DC-6 for crew training. (Wayne Tudors paint)

Hi, Thanks for the kind words and the testing. It has been a big project indeed. Glad they’re working well for you. FSAviator’s flight dynamics do make all the difference, and I’m grateful for that.

Hi,
The the props in the MDL file in the model.noradar folder did not disappear when the engines were started. This has been fixed. Download and install the base pack again to get the new model (or install into a temp folder, copy the MDL file in the model.noradar folder and paste into your installation).
Hope this helps,
