Hallo,
I am a little bit confused about the fueldump posibility for the all the connie,s in FSX.
I use the panel.cfg for FSX as it is mentioned in the file that the FS9 fueldump is deactivated in the panel.cfg. If i use the FS9 (//gauge44=dsd_fuel_dump!fuel_dump_transparent, 89,443,36,36,.\Gauges\1049_fuel_dump.ini // for FS9 only) the connie aircraft CDT during loading in FSX. But if i load first a other aircraft then the connie does,t CDT during loading and i can use the FS9 fueldump function. Is there a other FSX dump gauge the use for the dump function in FSX for the connie,s. or is it not possible to use this fueldump in FSX without CDT during loading in FSX.
hope you help.
rgds Willem.

I use a fuel dump gauge in my DC-6B/DC-7 FSX Base Packs that works, but I don't know if it is compatible with the gauge code used in the Connies.

Hallo Tom,
Thanks for the reply. But do i have to install the DC-6B/DC-7 FSX Base Pack gauge (Z_DC6KMTG!FUEL_DUMP) in the panel.cfg of the connie,s

Hi,
That’s my visible fuel dump gauge, which is not compatible with the Connie’s fuel tank arrangement. The gauge I was talking about would probably have dsd in the name, and would be in a VCockpit section.

The fuel dump gauge used in the Connies is:
dsd_fuel_dump!fuel_dump_transparent
This is the same gauge I use in my FS2004 panels.
The gauge I use for my FSX panels:
dsd_cc_fuel_dump!fuel_dump
unfortunately uses a different coding scheme for the fuel dump functions and thus the Connie fuel dump gauge(s) would need to be re-coded for that later gauge.

Hallo Tom,
Is there a posibility for re-coding that gauge for using fuel dump in FSX for the connie,s or is did not interesting anymore.
rgds Willem.

Hi,
I can tell people what's involved, but I won't be doing it myself...
