In the DC6B reverse thrust is engaged by clicking on the Martin bar. Is there a way to map this to a switch or the throttle reverse position such as found on my Saitek Throttle Quadrant? Im using P3D v3.
thanks in advance Don Whyte (xmitr)

I have a dual throttle quadrant and it took some time for me to realise that propeller reverse is obtained by reversing not the throttles but the propeller rpm levers back beyond their detent. Try this on your Saitek, although I have used it with the Super Constellation and the Cal Classic C-97, not the DC6B. If you have the aircraft stationary and reverse the propellers and advance the throttles it will move backwards, just like the real thing. It does not work with the L-049 Constellation, but that did not have propeller reverse in the real world. Hope this helps.

The equivalent key command to reverse these props is Ctrl-F2 (held down to repeat it). If you can program your yoke or quadrant to repeat that command as long as the the switch/button is held down then that will do it.

Wow thanks Tom and connieguy, that was the answer! Makes perfect sense, reverse thrust reverses the prop pitch not the engines. I programmed the prop lever to [Decrease RPM Quickly] or CRTL +F2 when below the detent and it works like a charm. Don Whyte (xmitr)
