Coding Eastern is the worst of the worst. It goes on without end. I even hate looking through the timetables to plan a flight.

C&S was Chicago and Southern. The merger got Delta into the Caribbean and South America routes. Also got the Connie into their fleet. I guess you could say the I am also a result of the merger. My Mom was a gate agent for C&S and my dad was an A&P (mechanic) with Delta. That's how they met at a nice little airfield named Midway.

Nice meeting spot, but so busy I'm surprised they had time for you. Delta said they would keep the C&S on the planes, but of course took it off a year or so later...
