An other here, but obvisouly same immatriculation: www.airhistory.net/photo/91546/YU-ADOVery curious! It was former with Condor Flugdienst as D-ADIL and crashed in May 1971 at Titograd. But no informations how the aircraft got four engines. Bernard

All three photographers state that this four engine version was a mock up made for a film.

Love it! Hey, if Gloster Aircraft Ltd. ever had gotten around to a four engined turbojet transport......well.....there you have it!
They already had the Meteor. Perhaps this would have been the Gloster Meteoroid or the Gloster Meteorite?
"Come fly the Gloster Meteorite, it travels slower than the speed of light. It emits showers of sparks all through the night, causing all on board a heap of fright"!
