Thanks for that John. Managed a lovely 3 leg ride on Sydney Seaplane's Beaver "Cambria" a few years ago. Rose Bay to Hawkesbury River, on to Palm Beach and back to Rose.
Remember trying to visualise how it would have looked in the old days as all built up now. There's a restaurant there (Catalina) which I'm sure is the old terminal, extended a bit.

Bill, Found this on their website: Catalina Restaurant History.Seems the place was built as a restaurant in 1957 to give diners a chance to look out over the water and see the aircraft arriving and departing while they ate. It must have been something, seeing those flying boats taking off and landing while having a great meal! Jorge Miami, FL
