Using FS9 for mainly my AI project I have been getting this message "Runtime Error! R6025 - pure virtual function call". Presumably something that other users will have encountered? Have tried running the AVG PC Tune up which didn't stop it, nor did the Restoro program. Reading the techie help sites they refer to corrupted .dll files causing runtime errors, in which case I would have hoped the 2 repair utilities I have tried would have well, repaired them. The problem first occurred at Norwich then at Edinburgh which gave me a bit of a clue. Something I've installed recently is a 1977 traffic file for Air Anglia which I suspect may be the culprit. Having removed all my AI traffic files (each airline has its own) from my 1977 AI traffic the problem went away. Adding them back one at a time caused no problem until I restored Air Anglia, then the runtime error returned. The F27 I have been using is the Mike Stone version which probably makes a great flyable aircraft but maybe unsuitable for AI use. Unless anyone has any other suggestions. Will replace it with the DWAI F-27A and see what happens.

It might be from a bad Air Anglia texture. You can try running them through a program like DXTBmp.

Thanks Tom. That is probably the case - using the same Mike Stone aircraft with a different texture didn't replicate the error. I use DXTBmp all the time but wouldn't know how to use it to identify a bad texture. I think the Anglia textures came from Simviation - they're not on fltsim or avsim. There are 21 in all. The Dee Waldron AI F-27 has just the one so I may end up repainting that instead.

I don’t bother trying to identify which one. I just load each one into DXTBmp and re-save it. That usually fixes them for me.
