That's the other story of this fictious aircraft: The famous movie 'Airport' with Burt Lancaster, Dean Martin, George Kennedy and many other actors came out in 1970. Nevertheless I couldn't resist to implement the Boeing 707-329C of Trans Global Airways in the '1962 Minneapolis St. Paul Intl. Airport' scenery. This airport was the filming location for the fictious Lincoln International. While the Boeing already is approaching runway 29 for emergency landing, Joe Peltroni is still trying to move the other TGA aircraft stuck in snowplows and therefore blocking the runway. To allow correct visibility, I had to create these situations with dusk light instead dark night as in the movie. Everything before and everything after certainly is well known by most of you. Shot in 1969, N324F is ex Flying Tiger Line. Sold on to Aer Lingus, it eventually crashed during landing at Sao Paulo in 1989 while owned by TransBrasil.
