We have the space needle in its original opening form in our classic 1962 Pacific Northwest scenery. It recently got a complete make over and is now equipped for "out of this world" (and I mean this seriously) light shows. Since Seattle had no public events for New Years eve celebrations last December 31st to ring in the new year, so they decided to do an over the top digital sky mapping artistic light show. Seattle King 5 news covered the show live on TV as viewers were urged to stay home and avoid catching Covid. There is literally no describing what this video shows. What can now be done with computerized sky mapping, fireworks, and drone swarms is far beyond the imagination of anyone who was at the 1961 Seattle World's Fair. I've never seen anything like this in my life -in a small way it reminds me of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
