While since some days I'm dealing with Saudi Arabia and curently with Riyadh, I came across following citation at Wikipedia:
King Khalid International Airport (OERK) was opened by HRH King Fahd on 16 November 1983, and opened for scheduled flights on 5 December of the same year. Until then, what is now Riyadh Air Base (OERY) served commercial flights to and from Riyadh.
Therefore I modified the CalClassic flightplans accordingly.
The airport isn't very busy anyway. Here the busiest traffic of the whole week!

Thanks, Bernard, one I hadn't spotted. At least with adding some simple gates at the Air Base I have a chance to see other aircraft parked up - they were so spread about the massive new airport the chances of seeing any were minimal. It works well with my personal 1967 traffic, there are typically a couple parked up at most times of day.
