While since some days I'm dealing with Saudi Arabia and curently with Riyadh, I came across following citation at Wikipedia: King Khalid International Airport (OERK) was opened by HRH King Fahd on 16 November 1983, and opened for scheduled flights on 5 December of the same year. Until then, what is now Riyadh Air Base (OERY) served commercial flights to and from Riyadh.
Therefore I modified the CalClassic flightplans accordingly. The airport isn't very busy anyway. Here the busiest traffic of the whole week! Bernard

Thanks for the tip. If an OERY airport is ever released (by anyone) I'll switch it.

Thanks, Bernard, one I hadn't spotted. At least with adding some simple gates at the Air Base I have a chance to see other aircraft parked up - they were so spread about the massive new airport the chances of seeing any were minimal. It works well with my personal 1967 traffic, there are typically a couple parked up at most times of day.
Best regards,
John
