Good Morning,
I wanted to do some backdating of Las Vegas (KLAS) using ADE. Without making any other changes to the airport, I see that ADE is moving the stock airport main terminal buildings and possibly the jetways in the "satellite" terminals closer to the junction of the runways (This was the original terminal complex). The parts no longer line up with each other. When I moved the "branches" to line up with the new jetway positions, I found the branches are different sizes than original -- they don't fit.
I've altered a few airports and this is the first time I've seen this problem. Has anyone seen this and successfully dealt with it?
Thanks! Kurt

Hello,
While putting together some screen shots as you suggested, it turns out the airport is only distorted in the ADE view but displays properly when compiled and seen in FS2004. I'll try placing some new gates and see how they turn out. (I'm going for mid-1970's so that terminal is suitable).
And, as you suggested, I'll post this on the other forum.
Thanks! Kurt

As with last time I tried at fsdeveloper, I got zero response. However, I was able to place the gates by connecting FS2004 and ignoring what I saw within ADE. With the airplane sitting in FS2004 where I wanted the gate, I centered the gate on the airplane symbol in ADE and they turned out OK. Jetways took trial-and-error to get them right, but all is well.
In the process, I was also pleased so see you can rename stock runways (from 7L/25R to 7/25, in my case) and the stock ILS is still recognized by ATC provided you also rename the ILS's associated runway within ADE.
Another "adventure" was finding that an aerial photo was used for the Las Vegas airport area, and when I removed the extra taxiways and runway, the ground still looked like they were there. Removing the photo within Scenery did not look very nice, so I used a "dirt" apron to "erase" the deleted runway and taxiways. Again, acceptable results, even if not the best.
Best regards, Kurt
