Here a tricky situation at Fassberg AB. The starting C-54 overflies an other crossing the runway for taxi in. That's done volontary. The taxiway isn't connected with the runway. Doing like this, the traffic is more fluidable, while the planes only start and land in one direction. AI aircraft hasn't to wait until the starting one has left the runway. I did this at Tempelhof too. Well, I'm not sure whether much people here are interested in Berlin Airlift era, outside of the Berlin Design packages mention in other threads.

You just beat me and my plans to create Berlin Airlift screenshots. I am still in middle of researching before starting recreation of the Berlin Airlift flight in most realistic manner BTW, what are Berlin Design packages?? I do not see that on those forums?? I ment the 'FS2004 Berlin Airlift Scenery' ans its several updates done by the FS Berlin Design team. There are some elements which are quite suitable, but the AI raffic has to be rebuilt. Up to now I just use its C-54. Nowhere near a milestone in aircraft creation, but the large cargo door makes it almost indispensably.

Ahh I see I am using FSX So out of luck for me
And nice to meet you on Calclassic forums, Syldair. Welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay on the forums!
If you know super awesome EDDI Tempelhof scenery for FSX, please post here. Yes I know about Simmerhomes software company that make FSX versio of EDDI but I cannot figure out how to install that.

Aharon

I have flown over a hundred flights to Tempelhof from Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Celle and Fassberg. This is my very event. Matzel tov on your 100th flight milestone in your recreation of Berlin Airlift. What aircrafts and what registration numbers did you use for your 100 flights to EDDI? Regards, Aharon

What aircrafts and what registration numbers did you use for your 100 flights to EDDI? C-47 (DC-3), C-54 (DC-4 Flight Replicas), C-69 (L-049 A2A), C-97 (B377 A2A), C-118 (DC-6 PMDG) Flying boats. All with standard US Air Force liveries, or MATS liveries. The registration number is not important for me. In this video, I am flying to Wesbaden on a C-54 through the Azores: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1N7xSOq5UQQAnd here, on the C-97, I take off from the default Wiesbaden: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFd0MIfpofURegards, Vlad

Registration numbers are important because they are one of methods in search field of any download library to find specific repaints that saw action in Berlin Airlift

These are some 'chartered' aircraft involved in Airlift: an Avro Tudor BSAA and behind an Consolitaded C-87 Liberator Express of Scottish Airways. Here an Avro Lancastrian of Flight Refueling Ltd. These aircraft are still unsorted and temporarly parked at Hamburg until I scheduled them. @vlad: in one of the first screenshots you show us with your link, we could see a C-124 Globemaster at Tempelhof. Up to now I couldn't found any records conforming that such aircraft have been involved in BAL. Do you have other informations? Bernard

Thanks Dan for your tip. Some of them I already downloaded, like the quite informative and useful 'Berlin Airlift - The Effort and The Aircraft'. Others are really welcome!
