In another recent post, Chris makes a eulogy for Dougan's "1943 South Atlantic Route Scenery". That's really almost a thought transfer, especially since I've been working on this package ant the Air Transport Command routes again for the past few days. I particular try to connect ATC with "the Hump" resp. the "Allied Airfields 1941-45" scenery. But it isn't very easy, since CBI-East and West sceneries are made rather "wooden made" with partially oversized objects. Anyway, here some screenies of a part of the ATC airfields. As already pointed out by Chris, the ATC scenery fits perfectly with Golden Wings environment. Eknes Field, Dakar Hastings, Sierra Leone nearby Hastings seaplane base Takoradi, Gold Coast Accra, Nigeria For the two airfields below I adapted the CalClassic sceneries. Cairo Payne Field (which becames Cairo Intl) Tel Aviv Lydda Some of the British WWII vehicles shown above are thoses released by Edmundo Abad at Sim-Outhouse and specially converted to be used with FS9. Thanks Aharon for your comment. I wasn't aware that Misrair still did regular flights to Palestine at this time. Therefore a good reason to add a traffic based on real timetable.

Notice it’s a bus to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Tom,
lydda is part of tel Aviv. The bus schedule is reference to CENTER of Tel Aviv and center of Jerusalem from Tel Aviv airport located in lod also known as lydda.
That is why it was called lod airport located in lod or lydda before it changed name from lod airport to Ben Gurion international airport
Basically, lydda is tel aviv airport
Regards,
Aharon

The first five airfields shown are part of "FS2004 1943 South Atlantic Route Scenery" package, available at FlightSim. The others are CalClassic releases.

are the AI aircraft included FSX compatible? Because only the C-47 , C-46 and C-75's textures are able to be seen, the rest are literally ghost planes

Where do I find the British plane (probably a blenheim) in the screenshot taken at takoradi?
