Perhaps it's a rite of passage, but I finally accomplished it. San Francisco to Manila. Hours of looking at a lone Clipper over the ocean. No celestial for me, I used the default GPS as a navigation update every hour or so (FSAviator's vintage navigation technique). A little spinning of the E-6B. Learned how to make and use a "range control chart." Learned how to determine the Equal Time Point. An enjoyable, and yet somewhat brutal experience. Mostly flown with the 1935 engines. The last leg (Guam-Manila) was flown with the 1937 engines, and it's funny to see how much more of a rocket ship that version is. I had a good time. Didn't take a lot of screenshots though. Enjoy.
