Nice shots, but curious mix of classic aircraft and war planes. At least for the specific site here!

I don't understand. All of those planes were from the late 60s, as far as I can tell. I think that qualifies as classic these days. And classic military has certainly been a popular theme here on this site for quite a while. While not the central focus, it's fine with me.

Nice shots for Veterans Day. I think it has a place here, due to fact that many here were Vietnam Era Veterans. Thanks - Take Care, Stefan

Sorry to see you go, that's too bad. I am trying to be more inclusive as our classic clan shrinks.

He's deleted his account twice now I think. I personally think he should be more than welcome to stay here.
Didn't FSAviator remark that the largest single purchaser and operator of Propliners was the US Government? That seems so obviously true when I think about it.

Now that I think about it that is probably true. There were a total of 288 DC-6Bs produced for many airlines but 101 C-118s for the USAF alone. And Connie’s did indeed fly special missions in the Vietnam war.
And Bernard is certainly welcome here anytime.

Not sure, I assume he was unhappy with the military slant?
