I found these both textures of very little known airliners. Even in the web there are practically no informations about these aircraft. Any comments would therefore be welcome. DC-4 Global Airways (at Philadelphia Intl Airport) The textures where created by late Martin Brouwer L-1049 California Hawaiian Airlines (at Oakland Intl Airport) These textures have been done by Gary Harper and are provided for FSX, but works with FS9 as well. In 1961 the plane has also been photographed at Chicago Midway and Prestwick. According to a photo comment it was leased to CHA who were flying USAF/MATS charters to Europe at the time. Bernard

I have both of these in my FS. Actually both of these aircraft have been to Prestwick on one or more occasions.
Planelogger.com is a good source of fleet lists and ownership history for individual aircraft. Martin also included a note in the download on the history of N79000. It became a Carvair eventually. I saw it as Continentale's D-ADAM at Hamburg when on holiday there in 1961. N6901C and two sisters were leased to California Hawaiian by TWA for two or three years.

Here an other ittle known airliner flying over a well known place. While following some days ago a DH.104 Dove of Golden Isles Airlines scheduled in 1962 traffic and approaching KORL Orlando Executive Airport, it overflew the area of Disneyworld. After almost twenty years (!) I discovered this famous resort in FS9. I only was aware of some objects showing Disneyland at Anaheim. Of course, with classic era it shouldn't be there, as the resort was opened only in October 1971. The addons depict Magic Kingdom and Space Mountain beneath the aircraft, Contemporary Resort on the left and Epcot Center in the middle on the top. And finally a good reason to show a little known airliner too. Thanks once again to its creators. Bernard

Hi Bernard,
I think Mike Stevens painted the plane, as I remember.
To answer regarding the first two planes, these are from the book Forgotten Flights.
Global Airways - Philadelphia, PA. 1946-late 1950s. Founded by Simon Bolnick and Joseph Raphael. Passenger charter operations including fishing and hunting charters to Canada. C-46, DC-3, and DC-4 equipment.
California Hawaiian Airlines. 1952-1962. Charles Sherman, President. Low fare infrequent passenger service to Hawaii (and coast to coast?). Passenger charter operations including service to Europe. Sister carrier of California Central Airlines. DC-4, L-049, and L-1049 equipment.
Hope this helps,
