UPDATE - 31 December 2023 =========================
I went through and realized the Lorenz had not been added to the vintage gauges folder, so I've uploaded the gauge as a stand-alone zip file. I've also included the original PDF file I'd done a while back with notes and instructions of sorts.
I agree with Bernard with regards to the animals. I don't own the LAGO FS Enhancer, but I've only heard good things about it. I was more going to the "free" side of the house, but if you can still find the LAGO version of animals, by all means go with it as the quality is definately better.
What I've done is created one massive file out of all the smaller files the original animal author had published. The combining of all of them will be in the instructions PDF once complete, but it's pretty straight forward.
The documentation is also fairly straight forward and allows you to go to "find" the animals based on coordinates in his PDF files. Likewise, I've placed all these in a "docs" folder within the new "mass" animal folder I created.
I'll see about doing more installation for PW on the new rig in the next few days and then document the actions as I go along so that I can update the PDF instructions.

Hi Jorge,
For unkown reasons I don't get any objects in your Shiphol scenery. The scenery folder includes some files which have obvisouly converted from a project done by Cees Donker. Do I miss something? Thanks for any advice.

Bernard,
Let me check. I've been sick a few days, so give me some time to see what's going on.

I finally have been able to adapt a curved approach at Kai Tak while using the corresponding files of "Kai Tak 1963" scenery. Unfortunately there are some objects included in the "VHHX_ILS_jv_63.bgl" file, and I'm not able to delete them. It's generats ships, the terminal and Checkerboard. Bernard

Glad you figured it out. The curved approach is determined by the main page of the ILS approach for the runway (in ADE Approach Mode).

Just an idea of mine.. I've done all the mods, including backing up & moving all the AB, AP, AT etc files from the Scenery folder.
What if I only want, for example, only the scenery from certain Add-on scenery's to be listed? An example would be, for instance, only the add-ons from the Ford Tri-Motor Project to be listed. So, when I want to select an airport, only the ones added in the Add-on scenery folder are listed.

I've done all the mods, including backing up & moving all the AB, AP, AT etc files from the Scenery folder. Yes, that's what I almost have done. I kept the AB files as they might be useful as background while adding backdated airfields.I also keep a folder with all default AP files and activate it for cresating simple ADE at the same places. As Bernard says, if you remove the AP files that should remove the default airports.

Well, I forgot to precise that default airport buildings won't disappear while deleting AP files, So, you might remove these buildings each time you see them!

Default airport buildings are in the OB files, so removing those will remove those. I confirmed this by renaming the 3 OB files in the NAMW/scenery folder and all buildings at Redlands Muni disappeared. Keep in mind that this will remove all default non-autogen buildings in this region that are not city specific.

Copied from long ago forum post:
AB= Airport background textures AP= Airport information (sort of default Afcads) FL= Airport flattens HL= Hydro lines (shorelines) HP= Hydro polys (lakes) RD= roads RR= railroads ST= streams UT= power lines BR= bridges NV= navaids OB= objects (building etc.) PK= parks
9xxyy0.bgl where 9 and 0 (zero) are placeholders and xxyy indicate the LOD5 tile covered by that file.

Thanks, all. Now I've got something to play with. Sorry if I'm hijacking, I thought of an FS2004 Space install, with Carl Reddin's Space scenery & a couple of other appropriate scenery, with space craft only & a themed GUI.. I want only that add-on scenery & airports to appear in the list.
Thanks for the info.

Hi Robin,
You probably will have several possibilities. One option is to create a separate scenery.cfg for your space settings. Each time you want to use this kind of sim, you just have to rename your actual scenery.cfg as well the scenery.space into scenery.cfg. That's the way I manage about ten (!) different eras. The advantage is to share all the same tools. No need to have AFX, IS etc. twice or more.

Hi Bernard,
Thanks for that. I prefer having a separate install for my different versions, so each version has its own aircraft. I already have my Golden Wings, Silver Wings, Platinum Wings, so a Space Wings could be fun. I'll use a basic Platinum Wings install, & remove stuff until I get what I want.
Cheers, Robin
