Scribd is a digital document library. On its site I found "Jane's All Worlds Aircraft 1938" in PDF format. In contrast to more recent issues, which exclusively describe aircraft, this one also contains a lot of interesting informations about airlines and airports. In addition, several photos of main airfields are shown.
Overall, a very useful documentation and would be a good basis for enhancing the late thirties world in FS9. Unfortunately, easier said than done!

Can you post the link to the document? Sounds interesting. By the way, have you seen John’s new album on the Grand Terminal at Glendale? Extensive photos of the 30s era.

Here the link to the site: www.scribd.com/homeThe access to the documentations is only possible with a subscription. Curiously this issue includes only very few informations about US airlines. Bernard

I Googled the 1938 volume which did take me to Scribd. But the document did come up and I was able to scroll through the whole 633 pages. Have never really used Scribd so am unsure it is is worth a monthly subscription.
Would be interested in any opinions on it.

John I have been using scribd for about a decade and can highly recommend it. You can subscribe to the lite version, which gives you access to just documents and a couple other things rather than the whole website, for $5 USD a month. Many thousands of documents which I've never found elsewhere online such as weight and balance manuals, real checklists, scanned scientific papers, etc. A real treasure trove that is worth the asking price, especially for the lite subscription.

In that case it will certainly be worth having another look at it.
