Duh! Yes it's me that goofed, I made a simple flight plan to view a C-130, went to KDEN but no taxiways, no parking, nothing. Checked the AFCAD, it came up with a message saying, 'Do Not Use' Then it hit me, I installed Stapleton which is XDEN not KDEN, my mistake, I forgot, I wonder how many more of you have made a similar error? Once I changed the flight plan all is well.

Hi Colin, Sorry about that, but with all the KDEN info and data that was embedded into FS9's navigation and ILS information and nav-aids, we couldn't change the airport identifier back to "DEN" or "KDEN".

He He, no problem it was all my fault, I just forgot, I was just posting my error for interest that's all. The times I've struggled for hours and it has been something staring me in the face or something very simple.

If I could only have all those hours back! Try XML gauge programming some time - missed a single space and it took me all day to find it...

;D I have more than a couple of T-shirts for that already.... On the practical side, I found that using the proofreading technique of starting at the bottom right and reading backwards quickly shows up those errors that I tend to glide across - after all, I wrote the thing, so I know what is in it, don't I ? Cheers MikeW
