Arrgh, this is an outrage. I may have to get FSX after all---I like Constellations far too much to let a mere nuisance simulator get in the way.

::)Well, it looks like I am going to have to reinstall FSX. Great airplanes like these take priority.

Er ... Not for me to say, but ... shurely not quite spot on? Compare to FSDZign's "old faithful" 049 ... Manfred

Hi,
I am looking forward to the VC version of the Starliner in the first place. Lots of intersting flights can be done with this plane, I hope I am finding more time to do it once I moved (due saturday). I am not sure I can run FSX effectively on my system, anyway.
The VC is going to be a lot of work for Manfred and his team, we'll have to see how long this is going to take. But it seems like he is getting ahead well.
I hope he won't be exhausted afterwards - the VC could easily be recycled for any other 1049 version, and fuselage and wings already exist as well, and the L-1649 engines probably could be modified relatively easily. Therefore, the 1049 versions should be minor surgery compared to all the other work he already did.
We'll see whether that happenes. Manfred, I sure don't want to push you, but I can dream beyond a Starliner, of course.
Best regards, Volker

Hi,
Unless they specifically say so (and these don't), aircraft made for FSX will not work in FS9.

So what would happen if I use FSX planes on FS9?

You will get a "cannot load visual model" message, and FS will either:
Show you an invisible plane. Not load the plane at all. Crash.
