AFAIK my Photobucket links are still working. When they no longer work, I'll move them to Imgur. I have saved them all to my hard drive for safekeeping.

Hi,
Whew, that was a big job - my hands are tired from mousing. Imgur didn't make it any easier by failing to upload every 4th image or so and putting them all out of order.
They have all now been transferred, and should be available again.
Hope this helps,

Useful work thanks Tom. Are you going to add a new link or have I missed that?

Got that now thanks Tom although I'm not sure I'll remember to look there! Is it possible to change the "Charts" link/s in your Propliner home page, the left side margin?
Bill
PS - Or is that not possible with the multiple links needed?

I could link it to the forum post instead, I guess.

Perfectly good solution Tom if it can be done. You'd have to remove the dead link anyway.

Hi all, my first post in the CalClassic forum :-) I am a long time simmer and wondered many times where to get old approach charts. Well... now I know. What a great source of historical information. Reading the entire thread, I understand there were some changes in regards the host internet service for the approach charts (now on imgur) and also Chic's website down and partially recovered. Let me ask two questions: - As there are no chart scans on the recovered Chic's website, are these part of the current collection on imgur? - The first posts of this thread mention also Okinawa and Kunming China from the 40s charts. However, I can't find them in any of the collection on linked imgur site. Is it therefore possible that they've got lost in the transition to the new host (imgur)? I would like to contribute to this thread (and collection of old approach charts) with what I have. Some time ago I bought a 1945 booklet titled Instrument Letdown & Departure Procedures India Burma China used by USAAF pilots when flying over the Hump. I am happy to make it available. Should I send the pdf to Tom? Thanks, Milan

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
Some charts were indeed lost in the transfer, that was unfortunate. I don’t have any way of recovering those. I also don’t have any other charts from Chic’s old site. Some of those did make it to Imgur, though.
Feel free to send me the pdf, I can add a link to the charts post.
Thanks,
