Hi Stefan, hmbl...Windows handles a CAB file the same way as a simple folder? Why I don't know that? There are only 15 years of working with Windows, but there seems no end to learn... ----TIME WARP --- Well, it works. Great hint! I was replacing only the VC gauge so I have now the GMT in the VC and the local time in the FE panel (2D not further used). Exactly that what I want. Thanks to all of you for your help. Great community here. Greetings Haddock

Like my Grand Dad always said....just when you think you know it all someone usually comes along and tells you something completely new....as long as you are willing to listen Glad you have it working. Stefan

Hi Haddock,
(and you must explain this choice of name to us all one day!!)
Sincere apologies for forgetting about the cab files. I know from experience how frustrating that would be.
Glad this helped. I had never given any thought about how to change a clock until Tom mentioned his version, which prompted me to look in the xml. So thanks to him.
Bill

Hi Bill, smile...I didn't have a problem get showing the borders of my knowledge. Learning while playing...best way of all, isn't it? The explanation of my nick name is easy to tell. As a young boy I was reading with ecstasy "The adventures of TinTin": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_TintinIn Germany it is named to "Tim und Struppi" where most personal names are renamed except the name of "Kapitaen Haddock". I was liking this old hack (grumbler?) so from the first times of computer gaming this was my nick. That's all... (And yes, I'm knowing what the name means...in german it would be called "Kapitaen Schellfisch"...) ;D Greetings Haddock
